“ We found this little gem of a restaurant while looking for a nontouristy dinner. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian dining experience look no further. Gio’s is both family friendly and nice for a date night. The service is excellent. The wait staff is well versed in the menu and attentive. The cocktails are delicious. We had the white sangria. The food is exceptional with generous portions. You will not leave hungry! We chose the lobster raviolis and chicken with Alfredo sauce. Gio’s is a 5 star dining experience. We will definitely be back. ”

“ This was by far the best Italian meal that we have had thus far in Myrtle. Our party of 7, including 2 kids ate everything! The mozzarella en carrozza is a rare find these days. The calamari were crispy and delicious! The Scallops in the scallops Provencial were seared and crispy which I've never had before and were amazing! The Caesar salad was so creamy and delicious too. We ordered too many menu items to go over each one. This is coming from Italians with parents who are from Italy who cook often and we are very picky. We are quick to scrutinize Italian food and the quality of ingredients used. We will definitely return! The lighting was dim so it doesnt do these plates justice. ”

She was the absolute best waitress we have ever had—attentive, warm, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. From the moment we sat down, Rose made us feel like we were the most important table in the restaurant. She anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask, gave spot-on recommendations (definitely try the meatballs & escargot!), and managed to be both professional and genuinely friendly.
